- Open Settings › System › Activation › Change product key.
- Enter your 25-character key and click Activate.
About Windows 10 Pro
Windows 10 Pro for PCs that can't run Windows 11. Microsoft ended free support for Windows 10 on 14 October 2025: it still works and activates, but security updates now need Extended Security Updates (ESU). If your PC meets the Windows 11 requirements, this key also activates Windows 11 Pro.
